Hey teams! We are three weeks away from sign up, and boy-O-boy do we have a lot of stuff planed. We are working on getting a paypal account to help film makers outside of the Lawrence area sign up. Once this account is running, teams will be able to sign up early. Then, Friday June 25, paid teams will receive an email with this years awesome criteria.  On top of that, teams can up load their finished film to megaupload.com. Teams should check out this website and become familiar with it before using. This year we’ll be getting teams from L.A., Portland and maybe even France!

If you are in the area, pick up with be Friday June 25 at Astro Kitty Comics in Lawrence and Hollywood at him in KC.

As always email us with any quetsions or comments.

YAY!! I can’t wait guys, but I will say that I wish you hadn’t scheduled it on the same weekend as KCIFC’s 10 Hour Film Fest… oh well. I guess you can’t always have your cake and shit blood. See you in the Pictures!!

Sadly, we found out about the IFC’s festival two days after we finalized our summer plans. We tried to move the dates around, but with little luck. Next year we will be in better communication with the IFC. Any team willing to participate in BOTH festivals will receive a special prize TBA.

  2. You shouldn’t send out emails and have content on your website that is gramatically incorrect and misspelled. It is easy to conclude that filmmakers would be more hesitant to be involved with WWFF because of it. It makes me wonder who I am being judged by and their capabilities.

Thank you Thank you Thank you for making it easier to be involved for people who don’t live in Lawrence.
