    Hey!

    We made it!

I saw “Brush” is in too. I talked with those guys in Liberty Hall on Sunday night. They seemed like great guys and are here for the first time.

It’d be great if we could figure out a way to incorporate some sort of mixer into the festivals in the future. An organized meet & greet where we can hang out and get to know the other entrants.

Best of luck! See you tomorrow night.

Yeah Mark Kirk, it be great to meet someone who is good at cleaning up sound in Final Cut Pro or Soundtrack Pro, or good at making music clips. Guess we’ll see everyone tomm. though… by the way is everyone dressing up tomm. night?

I’ll be wearing pants, and ought to be reasonably sober. I’ll probably be wearing the obligatory film production baseball cap, otherwise people will mistake me for a janitor instead of a filmmaker. Beyond that, who knows…

    C-YA!

You didn’t talk to us in Liberty Hall on Sunday…. we were in Kansas City.

How many people from each team that registered get in? When I registered I was told one, but on the website it says two.
Also, I am dressing up as something frightening.

This sucks. You guys are lame. I had some good friends work hard on films, and for some reason they didn’t make the cut. They were really good films (way better then mine) and they all fallowed the rules, W.T.F. Film Fest Staff? It seems like every year you cut great films for no reason at all. This film festival is bogus. Good Luck getting my money next year.

Wow, is the above post serious? Is there an age requirement for this film fest, because that poster sounds about 12 years old. How about instead of whining about it, you come to the festival tonight and watch the films that did make it, so you could see how to improve.

Those were GIRLS? That just shows what 48 hour without sleep does for you…

Seriously, I thought “Brush” was what the guys at Liberty Hall said their film was. My mistake.

Anyhooo… to the guys who were rendering your DVD on a laptop in LH Sunday, it was great talking to you. Hope to see you tonight.

To the negative comment above by the person who didn’t even leave his or her name. Your communication skills need some polishing, and you need to get some manners. Please let them know who you are so they can ban you from the event next year.

Before any presumptions are made, I’d like to clarify that the above comment did not come courtesy of the Troublesome Five. -.- Judging by the juvenille countenance on this inflammatory remark, one is probably likely to assume that the highschoolers would be responsible.

    not us though, mates. We’re a mature lot. x }

Mansquito’s Revenge will have their film shown; however, we cannot verify that it was turned in on time so it won’t be judged. If Mansquito’s Revenge is the team referred to in comment #10, we hope this will put this tiff to rest.

If we are unable to make it to the showing tonight, and win. Can we still pick up prizes? Will we be notified?

  17. Velvet

    You didn’t win, Bri.

Everyone at Blatant Mockery would like to say a very large THANKS! for choosing our film.

Hey, This is Joe Carey from Mansquito’s Revenge… I didn’t post the whiney comment. I just want to clear that up. That was not me and I think whoever did write it should probably try to direct their anger somewhere other than a message board.
